John D. Marchioni, Esq.
Obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1991 from St. John Fisher College. After graduation, he was employed as an abstractor and title examiner with a local abstracting and title company. Mr. Marchioni was later promoted to the position of Senior Account Representative ensuring customer satisfaction and developing new business. Mr. Marchioni started law school in 1995 completed his studies, graduating early in December, 1997. After law school, he accepted a position as a real estate attorney with Underberg & Kessler, LLP. Mr. Marchioni was then employed by the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office where he achieved the position as a Felony Assistant District Attorney. Mr. Marchioni resigned from the District Attorney’s Office to pursue his passion of Real Estate Law with the formation of Marchioni & Associates Law Firm in the year 2005.
Meaghan L. McGinnis, Esq.
Ms. McGinnis joined Marchioni & Associates as an associate in December 2019, bringing her background in residential real estate, estate planning, civil litigation, landlord tenant law, and municipal law. She is also a former town and village prosecutor.
Ms. McGinnis is a graduate of Syracuse University, magna cum laude, and The Pennsylvania State, Dickinson School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor of the Penn State Law Review and was selected for publication. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 2018.
While in law school, Ms. McGinnis had the opportunity to intern in Washington, D.C. with the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Immigration Litigation and the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review. She also interned in Rochester with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York. After law school, Ms. McGinnis returned to New York to be closer to her family and is excited to grow her practice in Rochester.
Cathorene Miles, Esq.
Ms. Miles joined Marchioni & Associates in August 2018 upon graduation from Duquesne University School of Law in May of 2018. Ms. Miles began her role as an associate attorney in January 2019 after being admitted to the New York State Bar.
While in law school Ms. Miles served as a writer and as Editor-in-Chief for the Duquesne Business Law Journal. She also interned for a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice and volunteered as a student attorney for Duquesne’s Unemployment Compensation Clinic. Ms. Miles spent her last two years of law school at a civil litigation firm where she worked primarily on insurance defense claims.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Miles received her bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College in finance with a minor in legal studies. She was also a four year student athlete on the women’s lacrosse team.
