John D. Marchioni, Esq.

Obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1991 from St. John Fisher College. After graduation, he was employed as an abstractor and title examiner with a local abstracting and title company. Mr. Marchioni was later promoted to the position of Senior Account Representative ensuring customer satisfaction and developing new business. Mr. Marchioni started law school in 1995 completed his studies, graduating early in December, 1997. After law school, he accepted a position as a real estate attorney with Underberg & Kessler, LLP. Mr. Marchioni was then employed by the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office where he achieved the position as a Felony Assistant District Attorney. Mr. Marchioni resigned from the District Attorney’s Office to pursue his passion of Real Estate Law with the formation of Marchioni & Associates Law Firm in the year 2005.

Meaghan L. McGinnis, Esq.

Ms. McGinnis joined Marchioni & Associates as an associate in December 2019, bringing her background in residential real estate, estate planning, civil litigation, landlord tenant law, and municipal law. She is also a former town and village prosecutor.

Ms. McGinnis is a graduate of Syracuse University, magna cum laude, and The Pennsylvania State, Dickinson School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor of the Penn State Law Review and was selected for publication. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 2018.

While in law school, Ms. McGinnis had the opportunity to intern in Washington, D.C. with the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Immigration Litigation and the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review. She also interned in Rochester with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York. After law school, Ms. McGinnis returned to New York to be closer to her family and is excited to grow her practice in Rochester.

Cathorene Miles, Esq.

Ms. Miles joined Marchioni & Associates in August 2018 upon graduation from Duquesne University School of Law in May of 2018. Ms. Miles began her role as an associate attorney in January 2019 after being admitted to the New York State Bar.

While in law school Ms. Miles served as a writer and as Editor-in-Chief for the Duquesne Business Law Journal. She also interned for a Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice and volunteered as a student attorney for Duquesne’s Unemployment Compensation Clinic. Ms. Miles spent her last two years of law school at a civil litigation firm where she worked primarily on insurance defense claims.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Miles received her bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College in finance with a minor in legal studies. She was also a four year student athlete on the women’s lacrosse team.

Michael A. Fame, Esq.

Eagle Scout Mr. Fame graduated from Vermont Law School in 1985 and admitted to practice in 1986, managed real estate firm Block & Colucci, P.C.'s Rochester law office until 1991 and then entered private general practice of law In 2003 Mr. Fame was employed in the title industry as a clearance officer by FirstAmerican Title Insurance Company of New York and then in 2007 as Title Counsel for WebTitle Agency, focusing on title insurance and default products. In 2019 Mr. Fame assumed an in-house attorney and national title underwriting position with Closing USA until starting with Marchioni & Associates in 2024.

Monique F Marchioni, Esq.

Ms. Marchioni joined Marchioni & Associates in 2018 working part-time, doing residential real estate closings. She is also a hearing examiner with the City of Rochester. Prior to joining Marchioni & Associates, Monique worked as in-house corporate counsel at a global design and consulting services company serving twenty plus offices geographically located throughout NY, NJ, Conn., Mass. and Penn. Prior to that, Monique focused her practice on construction and surety litigation. She worked at Harris Beach for over five years as an associate attorney in the Business and Commercial Litigation, and Construction and Surety Law Practice Groups, and was elected partner in 2016. Prior to that, she worked at Ernstrom & Dreste, a local boutique construction and surety law firm. Ms. Marchioni graduated from Albany Law School in 2008, where she served as editor in chief of the Albany Government Law Review. Ms. Marchioni was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2009. She graduated from RIT in 2004 with Highest Honors. Ms. Marchioni was selected as one of Rochester's Up and Coming Attorneys by the Daily Record in 2015.

Chris Patterson

Office Manager

Ms. Patterson attended Bryant and Stratton and has 19 years of experience in the real estate industry. Ms. Patterson started her career at an abstract and title company in the year 1998 working on residential real estate. At that time, she was responsible for preparing title, title clearance, scheduling closings and preparing closing documents as well as post-closing issues. In 1999, she took a position at a local law firm as a real estate paralegal. Ms. Patterson joined Marchioni & Associates in 2005 and is currently employed as a real estate paralegal handling purchase closings and lender real estate clients.

Holly Blaszak

Operations Manager

Ms. Blaszak attended St. John Fisher College and has furthered her education with the Real Estate Board of Realtors. Ms. Blaszak began her career in the real estate industry in 1985. She was previously employed by various local law firms, title companies and mortgage lending institutions. During her career, Ms. Blaszak has handled all aspects of commercial and residential real estate matters, including title examination, for New York State properties and has done extensive work with real estate closing coordinating for properties located throughout all of the United States. Ms. Blaszak joined Marchioni & Associates in 2007 and is currently employed as a real estate paralegal handling title, purchase and sale closings and lender real estate clients for residential and commercial properties and is the Operations Manager.

Christie Graham

Banking Paralegal

Ms. Graham obtained her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies in 1996. Ms. Graham began her career in the real estate industry in 1996. She started her career at a local law firm in the year 1996 working on residential real estate closings. In 2006 Ms. Graham joined Marchioni & Associates and is currently employed as a real estate paralegal handling purchase and sale closings and lender real estate clients.

Katie Merrick

Banking Paralegal

Ms. Merrick received her associates degree in 2005 from Finger Lakes Community College. Ms. Merrick has several years of real estate experience with various local firms. She joined Marchioni & Associates in 2019 in the banking department. In her spare time she enjoys camping with her family.

Ann Fischer

Real Estate Paralegal

Ms. Fischer started with a local law firm in the Real Estate Industry in 2002 working on residential real estate closings, short sales, evictions and third party sales. Ann Joined Marchioni & Associates in 2020 as a Real Estate Paralegal handling purchase and sales transactions

Melissa LaRue

Real Estate Paralegal

Ms. LaRue obtained her paralegal degree in 2004 from Bryant & Stratton and has been a paralegal since that time specializing in real estate and estates. Ms. LaRue joined Marchioni & Associates in 2019 as a real estate paralegal handling purchase and sale closings. When not at work, Ms. LaRue enjoys doing missionary work. Over the past twenty years she has gone on missionary trips to Ireland, London, Malawi and to cities around the US.

Alyssa Blaszak

Real Estate Paralegal

Ms. Blaszak earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from SUNY Fredonia in 2021. Alyssa had worked as an intern at Marchioni & Associates, on all of her school breaks. Upon graduation, Alyssa joined Marchioni & Associates in May 2021, as a paralegal in training. Today, she is currently employed as a real estate paralegal handling title, purchase and sale closings and lender real estate clients for residential and commercial properties. Alyssa looks forward to broadening her knowledge of Real Estate transactions.

Madison Xander

Real Estate Paralegal

Ms. Xander earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing,
at University at Buffalo, in 2020. In May of 2021 Madison started her career at Marchioni and Associates
as a paralegal in training. Madison is now a real estate paralegal handling title matters, purchase and
sale closings and lender real estate clients for residential and commercial properties. In Madison’s spare
time, she enjoys spending time with her yellow Labrador puppy, Bruegger.

Gina Eastwood

Banking Paralegal

Ms. Eastwood received her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Brockport in 2016. She joined Marchioni & Associates August 2021 as a receptionist while obtaining her Paralegal Studies Certificate. Ms. Eastwood was promoted in early 2022 to Banking Paralegal. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing at home with her zoo of pets.

Cindy Rin

Real Estate Paralegal

Ms. Rin received her Associates degree in 2014 from Monroe Community College. Ms. Rin was previously employed by a local abstract and title company which began her career in the real estate industry. Ms. Rin joined Marchioni & Associates in April 2019, as a Legal Assistant. She received her Paralegal Certificate from MCC in December 2019. She has been promoted to a Real Estate Paralegal in early 2020 handling primarily sale and purchase transactions. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her three kids.

Allison Yero

Real Estate Paralegal

Ms. Yero graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a
Concentration in Law from SUNY Cortland in 2020. Upon graduating, Allison worked at a local law firm in
her hometown and joined Marchioni & Associates in 2023 as a Real Estate Paralegal. Allie is a plant lover
and enjoys baking and shopping.

Cristina Perez

Real Estate Paralegal

Ms. Perez has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Studies from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, also has a Masters Degree in Stocks and Financial Markets from Escuela Europea de Negocios in Madrid Spain, also Juris Doctor from Pontifical University of Puerto Rico, Law School. Ms. Perez started her Real Estate career working for a Real Estate brokerage in 2019 specializing in commercial transactions. Ms. Perez joined Marchioni & Associates in October 2023 in our purchase and sale department. When Ms. Perez is not working, she enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends and learning about new things.

Jessica Hardy

Banking Paralegal

Ms. Hardy earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law from SUNY Brockport in 2005 and earned her Paralegal Certification from Ashworth College in August 2007. She joined Marchioni & Associates in January 2024 with 14 years of experience in Foreclosure, Residential and Commercial Real Estate and Title examination. Ms. Hardy is a former nationally ranked figure skater, the 2001 Livingston County Empire Girls State delegate and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her greatest accomplishment; her daughter, Adrianna.
